Lagos Island LG, Lagos Island East LCDA Hold Strategic Meeting With 2025 Adamu Orisa Play Planning Committees
Ahead of the 2025 Adamu Orisa Play, the Lagos Island local government and Lagos Island East LCDA held a strategic meeting with the Planning Committees today, Thursday 11 December, 2025 at conference hall of the Lagos Island local government Secretariat, Adeniji Adele road, Isale-Eko, Lagos.
In his speech, the executive chairman of Lagos Island local government, Prince Taiwo Oyekan assured residents, tourists, and stakeholders of spectacular celebration and adequate security.
The representatives of Oba of Lagos, His Imperial Majesty Oba Dr. Rilwan Osuolale Aremu Akiolu, Chief Lateef Aderibigbe Ajose and Chief Adesoji Ajayi-Bembe expressed appreciation to Prince Oyekan for his support for the 2025 Eyo festival.
Speaking further, they described Prince Oyekan as a Custodian of culture and heritage.
Officials of the two area councils were present.
